Future Educators of America (F.E.A.) advisor Ms. Berrios reports that F.E.A. attended its State Conference in Orlando from January 20th through January 22nd where they competed in speech, essay writing, public service announcement video production, lesson planning, and chapter display.

Miami High’s F.E.A. President Ariel Trueba, a junior, was elected Vice President for the entire state of Florida. Junior Cesar Flores earned 1st place in the speech competition against 40 other students. He also earned 2nd place in the lesson plan competition. Junior Samantha Jiron earned 3rd place in the public service announcement video competition. F.E.A. would like to thank everyone who helped make this trip possible.
