Club president Sofia Melgar reports that the R-tech club the is for students interested in technology and robotics. Their previous advisor was Mr. Luis Jara who was the computer science and engineering teacher. There is a new advisor, and her name is Ms. Herris. Meetings were held every Friday, but now due to the pandemic they are held every other Friday.  

    R-tech is led by different officers that take their role very seriously and who work hard to make the club come together. They have participated in a couple of SECME competition, but their most notable event is the Vex Robotic competition where they build robots and pit them against other robots from different schools. They built them using whatever is provided from the school advisor.
