False “MHS” Threat Shakes Students and Staff
There was an image posted on Instagram Jan. 27 that told “MHS” students not to go to school. There are some speculations that this is aimed at Miramar High School or Mays High School. “Due to the expansive speed that technology spreads communications, [the note] reached students at our school and a bit of unfounded fear and hysteria was created,” said Assistant Principal Mr. Zabala. Mr. Zabala told teachers that if students ask teachers about the situation, they are allowed to clarify the misconception.
UPDATE: The note is not aimed at Miami Senior Highschool. The note was aimed at Marysville High School. Please disregard the note.
