Miami High News is Miami High’s free on-line platform for student journalists that is updated weekly by members of the Miami High Times newspaper staff.

The online publication launched in September 2015. The publication is made in dedication to promoting online news-based reading that will help Miami High students stay informed on recent events at the school, sports statistics, and other types of information.

The main newsroom is located in room 1217, on the second floor of the main building. The newsroom consists of 16 desktop computers, one printer, one flatbed scanner, several cameras, and 5 laptop computers.

The website is designed using the the web platform sold by SNOSites and photo editing program Adobe Photoshop.

The news staff consists of over sixty students in Miami High’s two journalism classes and works in conjunction with the yearbook and WMHS staff as well.


Miami High News is the publication of Miami Senior High School.
