AWARE advisor Mr. Upperco reports that the club’s first service of the year was a success. He wants to thank the 69 volunteers who were able to make it to Kennedy Park on Coconut Grove for the beach cleanup.  AWARE will also be receiving an award to recognize its 27 years of continuous service to the Coastal Beach Clean Up program.

The club is currently working on homecoming. They have joined the Alliance, which is made up of EHS, SHS, HHS, and MAO. Club officers and members hope that they are able to place in the top three.
