Bowling team coach Mr. Emerson Perez reports the team is having a striking season in which the girls currently have a 5-0 record and the boys team 4-1 having lost their only match to Miami Springs in a tight game (1148-1125.)

As top-performers in between the boys’ team, Captains Juan Rivera and Sebastian Gamboa have distinguished themselves by achieving a 144 and 132 average respectively.

For the girls’ team Coach Emerson would like to recognize Rachel Salmeron as well as Co-Captain Jamilee Yern who hold a 115 and 110 average each.

Our bowling team will be facing Ronald Reagan High at AMF pines on Tuesday October 4th.  District championship competition will begin October 24th and the Stings are qualified to participate.  (By Juan Rivera)
