The girls soccer team has had a rough start to their 2016 season, still waiting for their first win.  They lost 2-1 to Coral Park on 11/3, 7-1 to Southwest on 11/7, 8-0 against Lourdes on 11/10, and 8-0 against Beach on 11/14.

Although the team has been unsuccessful, Coach Anderson reports, “As a first year coach here at Miami High, I am really looking forward to positive changes throughout the season.”

The girls soccer team had their first tie of the season, 0-0 against South Miami on 11/28. They also had their first win 4-0 against Booker T. on 11/29. Coach Anderson would like to acknowledge mid-fielder and forward Jacquelin Figueroa and goalie Kelly Garcia as outstanding players. “We’re looking forward to a strong finish against South Miami on 12/22,” she said.
