Club president Ruth Canovas reports that the club is accepting donations towards Clubsgiving, which will take place on Friday, November 17. Acceptable items include plates, utensils, napkins, juice, and soda. If a student would like to participate, they must not have previously donated to any other club. Additionally, EHS is preparing for the November Thanksgiving Drive, a community service opportunity. Nonperishable foods can be donated at a rate of 1 hour per item to room 1241. The start date is TBA.

In the club’s most recent meeting, they discussed the short story “A Tiny Feast” by Chris Adrian. In the next meeting on Monday, November 27,  the focus will be on the short story “A Good Man is Hard to Find” by Flannery O’Connor.
