On December 18^th  Future Educators of America (FEA) held their first GENL speakers program of the 2017-2018 school year in the theatre. This GENL, which stands for Generation Leaders, gathered a group of students and a guest to speak about recent controversies or topics they are passionate about. Senior Cesar Flores spoke about white supremacy, senior Lucia Galeano spoke about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), senior Kelin Escobar spoke about queer education, and guest community speaker Remy Dou from FIU, spoke about STEM.
