Our football team this year is feeling great about their game play. Coach D. Bernard trains his team weekdays from 2:45 to 6:30 p.m. Their first game at Ives Estates Park against North Miami was not a triumph, but Coach Bernard is very proud because the team is made up of only 6 seniors. The rest are sophomores and freshmen. “They didn’t quit,” he said. “They fought from the first quarter to the last quarter.”

Coach Bernard would like to give a shout out to sophomore Patrick Payne for having a turnover. Freshmen Bryan Salazar, Darvy Lawyer, and Tyler Washington are also given a shout out for “standing their ground against seniors.”

Their next game will be at Curtis Park on Friday, August 31^st. Tickets are $5.
