The varsity cheerleaders took over the Miami High auditorium at freshman orientation on August 15 as their first performance of the 2018-19 school year. English teacher Ms. Ashely Rodgers is the new coach, and the 23 cheerleaders are led by captain Katherine Chirino and co-captain Cielo Giordani. They are very excited to participate at every home football game, and the first one will be this Friday, at Curtis Park.  The team has been well prepared over the summer, and they’re ready to show their blue and gold pride.
