McDonald’s announced recently that they have expanded the McDonald’s Hacer® National Scholarship from 5 to 30 winners, allowing more Hispanic high school seniors the opportunity to go to college based on their academic achievement, community involvement, and financial need. Miami High students are encouraged to apply because applicants will have the opportunity to receive up to $100,000 for tuition. The application process is from October 22 to February 4, 2019. For more information and to apply for the scholarship, visit McDonalds.com/HACER.

McDonald’s also offers access to higher education through its Archways to Opportunity program, which allows eligible U.S. restaurant employees to receive upfront college tuition assistance, access to free education and career advising services, and learn English as a second language.

Youth Opportunity, another McDonald’s program, gives the participants skills required in the workplace, along with job readiness training, employment opportunities, and education programs. For more information, visit McDonalds.com/People.
