Mu Alpha Theta advisor Ms. Munguia reports that on February 14, the club will be starting a competition open to all Miami High students to determine the number of M&Ms in a balloon. Also, they participated in SECME math competition on January 26, but didn’t place. However, they will be participating in the Math Minds competition Saturday, February 23. To join Mu Alpha Theta, you must have a 3.0 GPA and an Honors math class. Applications are available in room 1213. (By Annette Chu)
