Two Miami High senior football players, wideout Makai Lovett and multi-position player Samaurie Dukes, were named first team All Dade by The Miami Herald back in February. Makai Lovett has signed to play college football next year with FCS South Dakota. Receiving honorable mentions from The Miami Herald were Luis Coll, Tremaine Gulfin and Antonio Mcfadden.
