May has been a busy month for the Future Educators of America club at Miami High. The first week of May was Teacher Appreciation Week. On May 3^rd , national Teacher Appreciation Day, F.E.A. club officers Sabrina Perez, Amanda Carmenate, Stephanie Zuniga, Arly Lara, and Christopher Moreno hosted an Oscars-themed breakfast in the teacher’s lounge. Along with the hot coffee and delicious doughnuts, photo-ops and props were available for teachers to take pictures with. On May 4^th, MHS Teacher Trivia was held through the teachers’ emails and five lucky teachers that answered the trivia questions correctly won Starbucks gift cards. On May 5^th and 6^th, the pictures the teachers had taken on May 3^rd, were printed, put into glittery holders, and distributed with two freshly baked cookies.

Now with the school year ending, F.E.A. advisor and Primary Strand Teaching Magnet teacher Ms. Rodriguez needs to find new officers to run the club and encourages students to join the club.
