Class of 2024 started off the year strong with their first board meeting, it was on September 5th, in the Media Center at 2:30. Senior board announced that they will be paying for the senior picnic tickets, however, only active board members will have this opportunity.

The first and second order of senior class shirts have been sold out, with the first order selling out in just one day. A third order has not been confirmed but seniors might be in luck if they still have not gotten the chance to buy one yet.

In our class president, Jonathan Matute’s opinion, our first pep rally did not turn out so good. He says the crowd was dead and he was “extremely nervous,” since it was his first time hosting a pep rally. However, he does think that the second pep rally was better, “overall, it was a fun and new experience for me to host the pep rally.”

Jonathan says that senior board is incredibly excited to continue the senior traditions and events, they are also planning new ones “such as Soak-A-Senior Fundraiser and Senior Lip Sync Battle.”
