Ms. Perez, coach of the Debate Team, is proud to announce on January 25th, 2025, Miami Senior High participated in the Stearns Weaver Miller 2025 Policy Debate Tournament at FIU’s Modesto Madique Campus. Overall, Miami Senior High won 1st Place in the Overall Sweepstakes!
She congratulates seniors Madelyn Mendoza and Micheal Porras for winning 2nd place in the team category and sophomores Alessandro DePalma and Danny Davila for winning 3rd place in the team category as well. Micheal Porras also won 4th place in the solo category and Madelyn Mendoza won 6th place in solo.
