Mr. Amaya, advisor for the Stingtown News team, is proud to announce that Miami High’s Stingtown News Instagram Show “The Daily Sting” has won 2nd place nationally in the 2025 Student Television Network’s 180 Challenge which is a competition where students had to create impactful broadcasts and deliver news along with segments in just 180 seconds!
Mr. Amaya points out that in only the second year of “The Daily Sting,” the program continues to be recognized among some of the top TV production programs in the country.
Mr. Amaya is also happy to announce that the TV Production team will be heading to an upcoming national competition from February 28th til March 4th, 2025, in Tampa, Florida.
