Ms. Enriquez and Ms. Rodriguez, heads of the teaching magnet, are proud to announce that they received a heartfelt message from one of their former Teach Magnet students, Hilary, Class of 2023 and F.E.A. member. She said , “These are kids who go through heavy experiences in life, and they were so excited with joy seeing us and learning through us.” She continued, “It changed my whole perspective on life and taught me not to take the little things for granted. I’m a whole different person from who I was a week and a half ago. I would not have been confident to work with kids if it wasn’t for FEA, the teaching program, and you guys!!”
Hilary is now a student at FIU and is actively involved in a club called Global Community Engagement.
Hilary’s kind message was a reminder for our teaching magnet teachers for why they chose this profession.
