Mr. Jimenez, creative writing teacher, is proud to announce Miami Senior High’s Creative Writing class participated in in the Barnacle Society’s poetry competition last weekend. The competition included many other high schools, and there were more than 600 poems submitted. Miami Senior High had three students selected for the top 15 poems and 54 of the 90 poems selected for display, a whopping 60% of the poems selected were written by Miami Senior High.
