The varsity cheerleaders now have a new advisor, Ms. Ubiera, who recently started teaching at Miami High. According to activities director Ms. Rivero, Ms. Ubiera was a cheerleader and a Miami High alumna. For the first time in many years, the cheerleaders attended cheer camp, got a superior rating and took home a spirit stick. (by Keilly Martinez).
