A normal day at the cafeteria

ORDERS UP!! At lunch you can get the food you want, like the mac and cheese and the chicken wings, but sometimes you get food you don’t want like the pizza.
Students have different reasons for getting the school lunch. Freshman Uriel Ramirez said, “It’s free, and it’s better than my middle school lunch.”
Zach Gutierrez, another freshman, said that he eats the cafeteria’s food because it’s free and “I don’t want to be starving in the next period.”
Students have their favorite cafeteria foods. Freshman Daniel Lago likes the lasagna and the pizza, but he said it would be better with 2 slices.
Uriel Ramirez said that he likes anything that’s Italian like the spaghetti. Sophomore Nicholas Valencia likes the mini cheese burgers. Sophomore Solangle Hernandez prefers the salad and the fruits.
On the other hand, many students complain about the cafeteria lunch. Samantha Gonzalez said “Some of the food is old and probably expired.”
“I dislike the lines,” said Nicholas Valencia. “They take forever and they are long.”
Some students prefer to bring their own lunch. 9th grader Samantha Gonzalez said that she brings her own food because it’s healthier than the cafeteria food.” Keysi Diaz, another freshman, said that she brings her own food because she has no time to wait in the line for food she doesn’t like.
If students were in charge, they believe they could improve Miami High’s cafeteria lunch. Nicholas Valencia said, “They should put different lines for different foods so it can be more organized.”
Solangle Hernandez would add healthier food.
Uriel Ramirez, said, “The cafeteria should ask us what kind of food we would like to see on the cafeteria menu.”
