Miami High’s 2019 yearbook MIAHI, which seems to sell out early every year, received “First Place with Special Merit” by the American Scholastic Press Association in their National Contest in December 2019. This top honor was earned by only 22 schools in the country. Yearbook sponsor Ms. Diaz credits her staff’s hard work, outstanding design, and content. Additionally, MIAHI was one of just 6 schools nationwide to receive “Outstanding Theme” for “Whippy and Goldies Journey Through High School.”
