The boys’ basketball banquet, held on March 30, was good for team bonding and a very memorable day for the basketball team. It was all planned out and coordinated by basketball team managers Jazmin Betancourt and Abrianna Gutierrez.  

   Coach Govea said that expectations for the 2023-2024 season are very high. “We really think we can beat the teams we lost to last year,” he said, “and we have hopes to make a deep run in the playoffs this year.  The goal is to make it to states and win.” The basketball team will attend camps this summer at Florida State University and Wake Forest University (by Joshua Guerrero).
