In late January, members of FCCLA were participants in this year’s FCCLA District Competition. On February 16th, the members received their rewards during the awards Banquet at Coral Gables. Kaitlyn Hernandez won a gold medal in Career Investigation, whilst Fatima Giron, Mia Gomez, and Danile Lopez won gold medals in Repurpose and Redesign. These members are representing FCCLA at State in Orlando, Florida.
They along with district placers (Alina Aviles, Repurpose and Redesign, Silver Medal; Keila Aldana, Repurpose and Design, Silver Medal; Liana Bracero, Repurpose and Redesign, Bronze Medal; Byron Palma, Food Innovations, Bronze Medal, Emmerson Gonzalez, Food Innovations, Bronze Medal; Jayden Vilorio, Food Innovations, Bronze Medal), deserve many congratulations for their efforts and dedication to their craft.
