As junior year is coming to an end, 11th graders are starting to think about their upcoming school year while also looking back at all the good and bad days they had this year.  

How do you feel this year treated you  

     Junior year is the year many students realize their time as a high school kid is coming to an end. Sean Reyes says, “This year was stressful and made me very upset. Compared to my other years, this year could have been better. I felt like I was living the same day over and over I hope next year is better.”  

   On the other hand, many feel the year is wrapping up nicely. Matthew Cortes says, “I feel this year was good. I didn’t get much work from teachers.” Nahomy Vega says, “This year was a rather good year compared to other years.”  

What are juniors looking forward too?  

     Many juniors are excited about next year.  “As my junior year is coming to an end and my senior year is right around the corner, I can’t help but to be excited for all the fun trip activities the school offers to 12th graders. It’s so unreal to think it’s almost over, but I’m looking forward to the new journey,”  says Melanie Acosta.  

    Justine Fernandes says, “ This year was great, but all I can think about is how next year will treat me. I’m really looking forward to the trips and making new memories with friends.” 

Do juniors think next year will be stressful? 

     It’s hard to tell what the future can bring, but we can only guess what comes next.   Junior Gigi Rodrigues says, “I don’t know what the future holds, but I sure am excited . I don’t believe next year will be stressful. I hope to have a laid back year.”  

    Others, like Nicolas Morales, don’t have the same hope of an easy year. He says, “This year was hard on me. I failed a few classes and will have to take summer school to recover a lot of credits. Next year I can only imagine how stressed out I’m going to be.  For me, school has always been hard, so I’m sure next year won’t be as good as I hope it would be.” 

 Will next year be different or similar?  

   Some people feel as if 12th grade year will be different. Gaby Beoto says, “I’m so excited. I worked so hard all these past years. So my senior year I will have everything ready for college as well as having time to socialize and have a good time with friends.”   

   On the other hand, Jose Castion doesn’t see the excitement. “I feel every year is the same as the previous year,” he says. “I’m not excited for the school year. I’m more excited about leaving school.”
