In November, FEA competed in the FIU Regional Conference for Early Childhood Education. They went into three categories: spotlight on education, public speaking, and chapters. Miami High junior Johnathan Matute won third place in public speaking for FEA. The club also plans to start a community service where FEA members tutor students in the teaching magnet to help magnet students with their DCF course, CDA binder, and level one courses.
