Dr. Yoham, the advisor for the Science National Honor Society (SNHS) , told me that the school year began very promising and strong. The first meeting to show the club to new people ended up in a funny experiment.
Throughout the year one of the biggest achievements has been that the club has got a lot of new members, which keeps the spirit of the club alive and very active. SNHS also accomplished 3rd place in homecoming. Members that never failed to represent SNHS were Mariana Zapata and Chelsea Muniz.
Some challenges that the club had to pass through are that the officers must know each other and stop being shy to be working together. But now that the school year is ending, they will have an event that old officers will pass s’mores to the new officers. And throughout the whole summer, even though it is not a big event, they still must make posters and banners.
You can expect that next year SNHS, with their famous president Katherine Quijada and other officers like 1st Vice President Katherine Gonzales or Treasurer like Oriana Olivo, will get more people and participate in more homecoming events.
