National Highschool Tour
On October 9, 2015, High School Nation hosted an event here on Miami High’s athletic field that included a variety of musical artists including Heather Russell, History in the Making, Spencer Battiest, Cody Groves, and Drake Bell from the hit Nickelodeon series “Drake & Josh.” The field was set up with tents from event sponsors Full Sail University, Ernie Ball Music, Paul Mitchell Hair, and the Gibson Guitar tour bus. High School Nation’s goal is to provide education through art and music by supporting public schools and giving them the materials to succeed. “They were giving away a lot of things, and it was pretty cool,” said junior Jose Lopez. “I just got like 30 Takis.” (By Fernando Cabrera)
