Game 8

on October 30th,  the Senior Night/Pink Game, at Curtis Park, the Stings defeated Miami Beach High with a score of 55-7. “As a unit, we played a phenomenal game,” said Coach Rosales.

Game 7

Homecoming 2015 on October 23rd, the Stings Football team annihilated Coral Park High School, at Curtis Park by a score of 53-0. Coach Rosales said that the defense and offense team performed outstandingly as a whole.

Game 6

On October 8th, at Homestead High, the stings dominated the Broncos by a score of 43-0. The top players were wide receiver/defensive back Desmond Fairell and linebacker Antquoan Kinsey. “The two players both scored touchdowns on defense and had a lot of tackles,” said Coach Mr. Rosales.

Game 5

On October 2nd at Tropical Park, for the 50th year anniversary of Miami High vs Coral Gables football game, the Stings played against the Cavaliers and lost by a score of 0-30.

Game 4

The Stings Football team is back to winning with a record of 2-2. On September 24th, at Curtis Park, the Stings crushed Ferguson High School by a score of 62-3. The top player for the game was quarterback Marcello Rodriguez, who scored 5 touchdowns including one on a run according to team captain Harrison “Burger” Riggins.

Game 3

The Stings football team’s record is now 1-2. On September 17th, the stings lost 0-26 against Columbus High. “We made many mistakes,” said varsity football coach Mr. Rosales. “We turned the ball over, and missed an interception for a touchdown.” He also reports that, the Columbus team was much more physical than we were.

Games 1 & 2

The Miami High football team’s record is currently 1-1. Football coach Mr. Rosales reports that on August 28th the Stings won against North Miami by a score of 35-14 at Curtis Park. Top player for the first game was defensive back player, David Philip, who had an interception for a touchdown. Unfortunately, in the second game, the Stings suffered a loss against South west with on September 5th 12-20 at South west High. “The defense unit played outstanding as a whole,” said Mr. Rosales. Their next game is on September 17th at Columbus High School at 4:00 p.m.
