Interact
Interact advisor Mr. Emerson Perez reports a huge increase in members for the club during the first nine weeks of the 2016-2017 school year. “We have gotten about 73 new members, most of them being freshmen,” said Mr. Emerson. “This type of increasing is what makes the club grow.”
With Homecoming parade being postponed, Emerson says the club is still looking for members willing to help the club make a good presentation. Help could range from participating in float building sessions to joining the dancing crew.
Also Emerson would like to remind Interact’s members that the club has a 10-hour community service requirement per every nine weeks and also that the club is currently collecting member fees. (By Juan Rivera.)
