Winter break went like a flash, and we didn’t even notice that it was time to prepare our bookbags and go back to school.

In every break we always do something that stays in our memories forever.  “I traveled to Wisconsin, and I was able to see my aunt that I had not seen for 5 years,” said freshman Ana Aguilar.

“I got to travel to Venezuela after a long time and saw my family,” said sophmore Camila Hernandez.

Freshman Jeerick Vasquez added, “My dad taught me how to ride a motorcycle. It was a good experience.”

“My favorite part of the break was when my cousins came to see me from Puerto Rico,” said freshman Maria Pena. “I had two years without seeing them.”

Freshman Angelica Diaz added, “The best part of my break was when I went to the beach in the night with all my friends the last day of the year and we saw the fireworks together. It was pretty amazing.”

Some people believe two weeks are enough for winter break. “I did everything I wanted to do, so yes two weeks is enough,” said junior Jose Aponte.

Freshman Adreina Bastidas said, “I was able to get a break from all the stressful work.”

However, others say that two weeks are not enough “I had too much work and barely rested in those two weeks,” said freshman Ana Aguilar.

Freshman Sofia Torres added, “I didn’t have a lot of time to spend with my family and friends because of my school work.”

People spend their break in different ways. “I went to Cuba to see all my family members,” said freshman Cristian Donati.

“I had a lot of homework and I couldn’t spend enough time with my family,” said freshman Maria Pena.

Freshman Antony Aguilar added, “I just stayed home watching movies.”

Others couldn’t do everything they wanted to. ” I didn’t go out so much because I had to work at Publix,” said sophmore Jesus Menendez.

“I couldn’t travel to my country Honduras, and I really wanted to,” said freshman Samantha Gonzales.    Freshman Yaimi Sosa said, “I wanted to go out to the movies with all my friends, but I couldn’t because I had to travel to Cuba.”
