Student Goverment

Student Government Association (SGA) advisor Ms. Puentes reports that on April 22nd, there will be an Earth Day event at Miami High, where students will be cleaning our school grounds and planting plants around the campus. Also, after spring break, students will once again have the chance to make PB&J sandwiches to donate to Camillus House- but this time, there’s a twist. There’s going to be a goal of making 3,000 sandwiches this time instead of 1,000, and it’ll be a challenge between the clubs and the faculty to see which group will be able to make the most sandwiches.

She reminds students that the Stings Pay it Forward program is ongoing until May, and that the Hope Tote is still requesting travel size hygiene items until May as well.
