Junior Samylia Ward was named 1st team All-County in Flag Football.

The Miami Herald published its Spring 2018 All-Dade High School sports issue on May 24th. The following Stingarees were recognized for their participation in different sports:

1)    Junior Samylia Ward was named 1st team All County in flag football. She was recognized for her 28 touchdowns, 2038 all-purpose yards, and 12 interceptions.

2)    Seniors Tommy Collins and Grisel Almeida were selected as Miami High’s top scholar-athletes. Tommy was recognized for his 3.9 GPA and his excellence in track & field and basketball. Grisel was recognized for her 3.1 GPA and her excellence in soccer.

3)    Kendry Noriega, Hernando Alvarez, and Alejandro De Arazoza were named Honorable Mention in baseball.
