Choir is ready to commence a new year with new opportunities! Glee Club has evolved into a more advanced group known as Tri-M Honors Society. If you would like to apply and see the requirements, go to room 4208 and speak with the choir director, Ms. Cid. Applications are due on September 21st.



Flyer for the first Open Mic Night (OMN) of 2018-2019)

Open Mic Night is a phenomenal event where you get to express yourself through singing, dancing, poetry, playing instruments, and other activities. Auditions were held on September 12, 2018. For those who didn’t receive a chance, Ms. Cid and Open Mic Night manager Lu Ona will be giving another chance on Monday, September 17, 2018. If you cannot contact them in person, you can contact them at [email protected] or [email protected]. Be ready to perform on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.

Women’s choir is officially a school elective! If you would like to be a part of the Lady Stings’ choir, they will hold auditions. The date is still being discussed. The same rules apply for Miami High Singers, the mixed choir. Men’s choir will remain an afterschool activity from 2:30 to 4 pm every other Tuesday.

Choir long-sleeved shirts are on sale this week! Price is $20. For choir students, you can add anything school appropriate. Students who are not in choir are still allowed to get the shirts but will not receive a customizable sleeve. Sale ends on the 21st of September.
