Choir director Ms. Cid has introduced three competitions to the chorus program this year: Florida American Choral Directors Association (FL ACDA), National American Choral Directors Association (National ACDA), and All-State from the Florida Vocals Association.

Out of the 12 students that auditioned for All-State, 9 students have successfully moved on to the second round! Congratulations to Alto Section Leader Jasmine Bermudez, Junior Liliam Montero, Vice President Mariah Moran, Freshman Rodrigo Noguera, Open Mic Night Manager Lu Ona, Senior Crystal Pavon, Bass Section Leader Jonathan Rodriguez, and Treasurer Jade Santiago.

Jasmine Bermudez and Rodrigo Noguera were selected by FL ACDA to sing at Stetson University located in DeLand, Florida.

Recordings for National ACDA are due this Friday. Students that succeed will perform in Kansas City, Missouri, from February 27 to March 2, 2019.
