Miami High’s Anime Nation Club is the perfect option for anyone interested in socializing, having fun, and discussing all things Japanese. The club hopes to act as a small community within the school that provides students with the opportunity to educate themselves on Japanese culture and animation or anime. Students are also given the chance to meet others with similar interests. “We occasionally hold events after meetings such as tournaments and games,” said club president Matthew Valdes, who leads the club alongside vice president Kevin Garcia, and advisor Dr. B Ricknauth. Their social media can be followed @mhs.anime_nation on Instagram and is a great way to stay in touch with what they’re up to.
