The Future Educators of America chapter at Miami High will be booked and busy the coming months. From February 28th to March 4th is Dr. Seuss week. The teaching magnet is collaborating with F.E.A. to decorate the Early Childhood Education room (2105) and prepare for the celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2nd. The upcoming Teacher of the Month for March will be dedicated to a very special science teacher, and F.E.A. historians are working diligently to create a fantastic gift for them. During March and April, the club will be preparing for Teacher Appreciation Week, F.E.A.’s biggest event of the year which takes place the first week of May. While the theme is not being disclosed until a few weeks before the event, club officers say that this year’s theme will be “show-stopping.” (By Melissa Elmhorst)
