SNHS’s “Mango Mission Project”

Science National Honors Society (SNHS) adviser Dr. Yoham reports that the club is planning on doing a ‘Mango Mission Project’ where they will be helping communities avoid flooding. What they’ll be doing is growing mangroves in a greenhouse at Miami High. Then once they’re ready, they will be planted in communities that are prone to flooding to reduce that risk. Dr. Yoham is also happy to report that there are many new members joining. (By Federico Rizo)
