Swimming coach Mr. Tornillo reported that Nahuel Balade set the school record in the 100 meter fly in late 2022, with a time of 55.29 seconds. He’s currently a freshman here at Miami High and when asked why he joined the swimming team, he said just because he loved doing it. “He has great potential, and I see him accomplishing big things in the future,” said Mr.Tornillo (by Darla Paniagua).
