1st Vice President Claudia Fonseca reports that the Student Government Association (SGA) partnered with Interact to host the annual Sting Town Holiday Drive where they collected non-perishable canned food items to help those in need. This service ended successfully on the 14th of December. They also hosted SGA’s Winter Wonderland dance on December 8th to celebrate the holiday season. They are currently hosting the Stings Pay It Forward Service, which is an annual clothing drive and a Flo Initiative service where they collect pads and tampons to help those in need of menstrual products. This is a great chance for students that want to get hours and give back to their community. Finally, SGA advisor Ms. Puentes announced that if you want to become an SGA Senator, come see her in room 3204.
