April is spring break time, and while we’ve all heard of the typical destinations, we can’t seem to stop daydreaming of where we might go if we could travel anywhere and with anyone our heart desired.

Every time we have breaks from school, there’s always a place that we dream about, especially during Spring Break. Junior Dayana Valdes would like to make her dream of going to Spain come true during spring break.

“I would like to go to California because I want to see my friends and family, and to surf, rock climb, and go to the beach,” said sophomore Emily Mendez Rivas, and she believes that her wish can come true someday after she graduates or when she is in her senior year.

“My spring break fantasy is going to Canada to get to meet my internet best friend in person for the first time,” said sophomore Keylin Cortez.

Sophomore Agatha Ramirez would like to visit Tokyo and experience their culture.” She thinks she can make that fantasy real someday when she’s older.

We all have that favorite person that we would like to share the world with, and spring break could be the best moment for that.  Junior Abraham Estrada would go on break with friends because “I can be myself with them and enjoy the most.” Sophomore Gloria Rodriguez would also like to spend it with her friends because “we are going to have a great experience together and do things that we don’t do with family.”

You don’t need a lot of money to have fun. “The best spring break without paying too much would be watching anime and spending the day sleeping,” said sophomore Wendy Hernandez. Similarly, junior Dayna Valdes said that watching Netflix while eating snacks is the best choice.

Sophomore Ernesto Olivero thinks that going to the beach is a combination of having fun and not spending too much money.

There’s always a spring break that we won’t forget, because it was so full of joy. Freshman Ivana Valle said, “Last year was my best spring break, because I went to the beach every single day with my friends and family.”

Sophomore Jeraldine Ruiz’s favorite was when she went to Puerto Rico last year with her family. For sophomore Maria Ortiz, it was in 2015 when she went to visit Punta Cana.

“My best spring was when I stayed home, because I’m always on trips and I’m glad that I could finally be at home with my family,” said junior Cristian Fernandez.

Some are still waiting to have a fun spring break. “I have never had one,” said sophomore Cristian Oliva.
