Silver Knight has a new sponsor at Miami High this year, multi-cultural studies and English teacher Ms. Fernandini. She has organized for the club to meet every two weeks on Mondays. The Miami Herald Silver Knight Awards is one of the nation’s most highly regarded student awards programs. Silver Knight website explains, “The purpose of this Awards program is to recognize outstanding students who have not only maintained good grades but have also unselfishly applied their special knowledge and talents to contribute significant service to their schools and communities.” Applications for the club are due on January 25 to Ms. Fernandini in room 3227
