In October, Ms. Lili Henao from Wells Fargo Bank talked to Mr. DeNight’s journalism classes (see above) about achieving financial independence.  Her visit was part of the Education Fund’s Great American Teach-a-thon fundraiser, where people from the business community teach lessons to students all across Miami Dade County Public Schools.  Money raised from the event was shared with Miami High’s journalism students who used the funds in May to buy shirts for the newspaper staff (see below).
