On May 4^th the Miami Senior High School Alumni Association awarded 43 scholarships, worth $26,500 in total, to this year’s seniors. 34 of the students received $500 awards, 8 received $1,000 awards, and one student, Amanda Echevarria, received a $1,500 award.

Compared to last year, $4,000 more was raised by the Alumni Association from the donations from past Stingarees for the Class of 2019. The Alumni Association is very proud to give back to their alma mater and hopes that the number of recipients will continue to grow over the years.
