Boys Baseball team

Baseball Coach Mr. Bonilla reports that as of April 21, the team’s record is 12-10. The baseball season began in February and it ends in late April. He states that the team’s greatest win was against Hialeah Miami Lakes because they were a very good solid team. He adds that their toughest loss was against Coral Park because they did not play very well and Coral Park was a team that they couldn’t beat.
A player that he wanted to recognize was Mackeel Roberts, a senior pitcher and 2nd baseman. Coach Bonilla said, “He is our best player.” His opinion about the 2021 season was, “It was more of a learning experience especially with Covid.” However, the outlook for next season looks real good. Coach Bonilla said, “We’re going to lose two seniors, but we are going to get back our 8 starters. What he wants Miami High students to know about his team is, “they are characterized kids and they are great citizens.” (By Andre Brown)

The story by this young man was very informative and covered all areas. He is a great writer. I have read some other articles he wrote. He would be a great future journalist , writer or whatever he desires to do . I encourage him to continue the good work he is doing.

I truly believe the coaching Staff over at Miami high is doing a wonderful job on and off the field .. helping the kids academically
