On March 6th the Miami High chess team had a great victory in the Central Region Chess Tournament. On April 17th They won yet again the 2021 district virtual chess championship with first place winner junior Xavier Alvarez and 2nd place winner freshman Brayan Amaya.
Although the team has nothing important this summer, next school year they will be going to a national tournament in Orlando in December. (by Helen Lugo)
