LLHS president and debate captain Marco Perez Vazquez announced that the debate team has officially won 7 consecutive tournaments this year. In this year’s Bilzin Sumberg Holiday debate competition, Miami Senior High’s team placed first in Most Spirited and tied for Sweepstakes for the first time in almost 2 years. Marco reports that they have meetings every Friday in the Law classroom, in the first building on the 4th floor, and welcome newcomers with open arms. (By Paola Arriaza)
