BETA’s first VP Gabriel Ferrer was proud to announce that all 14 Hall of Famers of Miami High are BETA members.  

   Premio de Nuestros, a very famous Spanish award show that BETA got invited to, was a tremendous success. They got to see Romeo Santos, Pitbull, Prince Royce, and more, in amazing, close-up seats.  

   BETA meetings are now being held in Dr. Hueck’s room as opposed to the auditorium. Meetings are still every Wednesday unless canceled, so remember to wear your BETA merch on those days. They are also going to start tagging new members soon. 

  BETA merch is being sold again, from jerseys, lanyards, long sleeves, slashes, and even bracelets. BETA is such an accepting club; they help their members by opening doors for them. Young entrepreneur Samirah Lens has a small business known as DespertarLunar. She makes incredible, handcrafted crystal jewelry and is making bracelets for BETA. BETA now has a natural black obsidian bracelet with gold beads with a big letter B as part of their merch. Samirah can gladly say she is a proud BETA and will be selling the bracelets soon. “I couldn’t have done it without the President and Vice President’s help and consideration,” she said.    BETA is hosting a banquet near the end of May; the tickets are going to cost around $40-$50 and they are going to start collecting around the beginning of May. The theme will be Old Hollywood and there is going to be a dance floor. It will be like their own prom.
