The Miami High baseball team has already started the season with a 9-2 win against North Miami Beach High School, setting up the team for success this season. According to the Coach Bonilla, the baseball team has a lot of potential this year. The most anticipated game of the season was against last year’s district champions, Hialeah Gardens High. Unfortunately, MHS baseball team lost the game 7-5, but only by 2 runs. It was one of the most intense games of the season, and even had to go into extra innings. The game was filled with great all-around play from our team, especially from Star Pitcher, senior John Barban, who had an exceptional performance, pitching a great 7 innings with a total of 7 strikeouts. As of March 11, the team is 3-3-1(By Lisandro Iglesias).
